I'm Melting...I'm Melting!
It is so incredibly hot here today it is unbelievable! Right at this very moment it is 34 degrees and it is almost 6pm! Crazy! Plus we have no air conditioner and the temperature inside the house right now is 26 degrees! yeah one of those sit still and sweat days...or live in the fridge days (but that is kind of cramped)...it is especially gross when in the winter it is MINUS 34 or 40 degrees on any given day...how does one deal with such drastic heat when one is not used to sweating from every crevice of the body? I do believe my coping skills are well adapted...I'm heading to parents place right now where there is an air conditioner! :) But I may have to develop a new plan come Sunday when it is supposed to be close to 40 degrees above 0...hmmm...POOL PARTY! Yup you heard me correctly...in my mud hole of a yard and street I just might have to purchase a blow up kiddie pool and stick it out on the sidewalk, fill it with cold water and sit in it the whole day long (who needs Mexico?) as my exposed skin melts and shrivels in the sun. But let me tell you I will be COOL! :) (hopefu
lly I'll look as COOL as I feel) :) Any other suggestions on how I should ride out the hot front that has suddenly crowded the northern town in which I live would be appreciated :) Please let me know how you plan to spend your hot days :)
Well, it has been a while since I have written anything here, and you know I figure that all of you out there deserve to know what is happening in my life...you might not care or really want to know but you're reading this aren't you? :) Anyways, life in this month of June has already been pretty busy. With our Anniversary on the 5th, my brothers on the 6th and my parents on the 7th (well Craig and I couldn't break the tradition:) haha). Then we went to Edmonton and Calgary for 4 days. That was a fun trip...I think it was the weekend of seeing old friends which was awesome! I had such a great time...the zoo was fun too, I think Craig really enjoyed it...he had never been before so it was good fun! :) The drive back was a little long but nothing we couldn't handle...the 7 minute stop into Ikea really broke it up! :) Yeah right...Craig was Mr. Anal and all about the driving schedule...so yeah it was literally in and out...I have never been through that store so fast in my life! haha haha :) But is was pretty darn funny to see Craig just a motoring through every short cut you can possibly take to get to the bedding section :) I needed sheets guys...but I wonder why Craig got there so fast :) hehe hehe :)We realized on the way down that it had been over 7 months since we have been out of town...can we say cabin fever! Yeah it was a definite needed trip out :)But here we are back in the Mac and now that we have gotten rid of the stir craziness we are able to again enjoy our happy little lives :) Let it be known that there are 14 days left of school and I am FREE...until September again entangles me in chains :) But I will enjoy my freedom :) hehehehe :)
